This project included the customization of Protocol’s Frameworks (the PPM) to serve Ontario’s autism community within the online environment. Our solution enables thousands of families and care providers throughout the province to communicate and organize their delivery of care specific to unique needs, schedules, and a variety of other parameters. Through the delivery and completion of unique user queries, data collection processes, and a variety of administrator-defined reports, our solution enables multiple unique profiles for thousands of users, as well as the ability for those users to manage their own unique profiles.
This system enables the ease of online form completion through drop-down menus and automatic population of data as defined by the clients and end-users, as well as the automated capture of all information specific to users. Offering access to multiple areas within the system, users are able to access their desired communities and fully interact through the development of customized profiles based on defined criteria. The entire solution is easily managed through a sophisticated yet non-technical environment, with administrative rights available to qualified users throughout the province.

Protocol was approached (word of mouth recommendation) to create a complete on-line environment for managing all the various types of online media campaigns. This project leveraged the Protocol Frameworks (the PPM) and offers an exciting demonstration of our capabilities including:
This application is built to handle millions of requests per day – every time someone clicks a link on a Google Ad, this application handles the request, audits it to the database and then forwards the user to the correct web-site – performance and reliability are critical. This application is hosted at our Primus Canada facility and also communicates with the clients’ existing Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database located in Toronto.
This project consisted of the design and development of new portal environment for the Town of Aurora which offered an easy-to-use web management solution to enable their team to define and control all elements and the publishing process – create, edit, archive, workflow, security, etc.
This project leveraged the Protocol Frameworks (the PPM) to deliver a fully compliant portal which includes full management of all online assets and areas, as well as publishing workflow, archiving and access. The client team is now able to define and control their entire online environment and extend this portal as they see fit. Additional functionality was also integrated into the portal solution to extend the client team’s ability to interact with site visitors via the online environment. The resulting portal is hosted by Protocol at their secure Primus Canada facilities, with ongoing support provided to the client team.
This project demonstrates Protocol’s ability to rapidly deliver a sophisticated online solution that includes extensive site management functionality. The purpose of this project was to create a combined new website offering transit information to a wide range of online audiences. The project itself was a cooperative effort between the Region of Durham and the Town of Ajax.
Project requirements included the need to deliver a highly interactive website offering robust functionality and management capability within six weeks. To achieve this, Protocol leveraged its Protocol Frameworks (the PPM) to achieve the required functionality and project completion deadline. Additional functionality was also included to extend the client’s capabilities for data capture, audience interaction and client reporting. This was an extremely rewarding and fast-paced project and the client team is extremely happy with the results. We have recently developed a sophisticated Online Survey Module which enables the client team to fully interact with their online audience, capture and track all results, and generate customized reports that enable unique presentation of those results.
AOHC is the Association of Ontario Health Centres and is the core organization that facilitates, manages and maintains the processes concerning Ontario’s health centers, their services, and coordination of activities to the extended public. Requiring a unique and highly interactive online portal, Protocol leveraged its Protocol Frameworks (the PPM) to deliver a fully compliant web environment that achieves all necessary design and development standards. In addition Protocol integrated complete site management capability that enables the client team to fully manage all elements and processes specific to their online environment (new sections, pages, publishing, uploading of images and assets, workflow, permissions, etc.).
In addition, Protocol provided functionality that streamlines the client’s online data capture process and online report generation. This portal enables the client team to extend their web environment to include any number of public or private-facing websites (Intranets) as well as the ability to define authentication and access.
To achieve these requirements, Protocol leveraged the Protocol Frameworks (the PPM) and delivered a highly interactive and robust online environment.
Functionality includes personalization (clients see only what they are supposed to see, access and view based on unique log-in), surveys and forms, document and file management, as well as complete site management capabilities and reporting for the BFL administrative team.
